Sept 15 2026: The Renewed Canadian Welcome Book Tour

The Chatham-Kent Public Library is hosting A Renewed Canadian Welcome: Eleven Visions from Migrants and Advocates Book Tour as part of CK Welcome Week.

Rena Namago, Refugee & Migrant Rights Policy Officer with Citizens for Public Justice and a contributor to the book, will be joined by Dr. Vasanthi Venkatesh from the University of Windsor for an interview-style conversation exploring themes of immigration, belonging, and building welcoming communities in Canada.
