Cultural Plan Update Project
The updated Chatham-Kent Cultural Plan is being developed through a phased process that began in August 2025 and will unfold over three key stages.
Led collaboratively by Monumental, ERA Architects, and the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, the project aims to enhance the community’s rich and multi-layered cultural landscape through a visioning process grounded in the following principles: defining culture within changing demographics, cultural mapping, strengthening alliances, encouraging local investment, and connecting culture to the broader community.
This timeline outlines major milestones from project initiation through to the completion of the final plan. Each phase builds on the previous one, progressing from research and engagement to strategy development with a strong emphasis on collaboration, cultural mapping, and meaningful community input.
