Join us for an engaging workshop led by the expert team at Ron Koudys Landscape Architects. This session is a vital opportunity to:
- Discuss the strengths of Erieau Boulevard as a crucial open space in our town.
- Explore opportunities for enhancement and development.
- Voice any concerns you might have.
- Share your ideas for the future of this important site.
Your thoughts and suggestions will be invaluable as we prepare a master site plan that will guide the future development of Erieau Boulevard. This is a chance to ensure that this asset meets the needs of our community and continues to be a cherished space for all.
Why Your Participation Matters:
Erieau Boulevard is a vital part of our community's green space. Your input will help shape its future, ensuring it remains a vibrant, accessible, and sustainable area for generations to come.
We look forward to seeing you there and hearing your valuable contributions!
Let's work together to create a better future for Erieau Boulevard!
Your ECA Board of Directors recently held a meeting of various safety partners to discuss safety issues within the village. Minutes of this meeting are under Documents. This is a work in progress, and we will be inviting both the CKPS and OPP back for an ECA meeting in the New Year.
A couple of items that we found surprising was that noise and nuisance complaints from Erieau are very low or as one person said, "near the bottom of the list". Keep calling the Non-Emergency number to report the complaints. This can be done anonymously. The other item is to make sure when calling 911 give as many details as possible as to the persons condition, especially if they are non-responsive or not breathing so that the proper resources are dispatched.
Please read the entire meeting minutes under Documents on the left of this page.
Our Annual General Meeting was held June 14, 23 and the following people were nominated and elected as follows:
Sharon Pfaff, Chair (1 year term remaining)
Sue Vidler-Robert, Vice-Chair (1 year term remaining)
Joyce Vidler, Treasurer (1 year term remaining)
Mary Lynn Pickering, Secretary (1 year term remaining)
Scott Vidler, Director (2 year term remain)
Leo Heuvelmans, Director (1 year term)
Jeff Vidler, Director (1 year term)
We are looking for volunteers to work on various committees to accomplish the goals as set out in our Strategic Plan. Do you have an interest in the beach, playgrounds, and park area? Perhaps the trail area is your interest, or are you great at fundraising? We have many areas available. Although this is led by the ECA this is a COMMUNITY EFFORT. Even if you do not attend the ECA meetings, there is a place for you to help. Contact any member of the executive or email: erieaucommunity@gmail.com Let us know what your interest is, and we will find a spot for you. There will be some meetings involved.
If you notice any vandalism, excessive noise etc. please call the Non-Emergency number for the CK Police at 519-352-1234 x9.
What has your Association been up to?
Our Updated Strategic Plan is now completed with new action items for Year 2 2024 & added Year 3 2025. The revised plan is posted under the Strategic Plan section of this web site. We would be happy to have participants from the community support the new initiatives and projects since these were added based on the feedback from the community surveys. Have a look through the plan & if any of the goals or action items are areas that you would like to work on, please contact ECA board members or email erieaucommunity@gmail.com or attend an ECA meeting which is the second Wednesday evening of each month at 7 PM at the Fire Hall Community Room. It is going to be another very busy year!
We would be happy to see you there!
Sharon Pfaff
