E-course: Exploring the Roots of Anti-Black Racism
3 months agoIn honour of Black History Month, Canadian Equality Consulting (CEC) is offering a very affordable self-paced, online, 1-hour mini-course on the roots of anti-Black racism.
This course will equip participants with the foundational knowledge, tools, and resources to identify the prevalence of anti-Black racism, and learn how to actively and intentionally build an anti-racist workplace.

Events for White Cane Week (Feb 4-10)
3 months agoThe Chatham-Kent Chapter of the Canadian Council of the Blind is holding some events in honour of White Cane Week.
The group will have events at the Downtown Chatham Centre on February 5th from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. and 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. and on February 10th starting at 1:00 P.M. During these times they will have an obstacle course set up to help people experience what it might be like to navigate spaces with visual loss.
