Renoviction Review – Rental Renovation Licence By-law

The Municipality of Chatham-Kent sought public feedback on renovictions in Chatham-Kent from April 1 to 30. That survey period has now concluded. Thank you to everyone who took the time to participate. Council will be receiving the results and comments collected through the survey when this subject comes back to a future Council meeting.

Based on the feedback received, administration has prepared a draft Rental Renovation Licence By-law and has considered three possible options for Municipal Council to consider. Prior to Council’s consideration, members of the public are invited to review the draft by-law, and the proposed options, and to provide their input.
