    Open to all municipal employees and volunteers


    Join Shannon White, Indigenous Educator with Chatham-Kent Ontario Health Team, to learn about why people offer Land Acknowledgments and how to make them meaningful, and the proper protocols and etiquette when asking Indigenous Leaders, Elders, and Knowledge Holders to offer openings or share traditional knowledge.


    Please get approval from your Supervisor prior to registering for this event.

  • Join us for our 4th Annual entry in the CK Pride Parade!


    Join municipal colleagues for a fun, inclusive, and family-friendly event.

    All municipal employees welcome. Feel free to invite family and friends.

     

    Details:

    Saturday, August 16th, 11:00AM

    Parade starts at Civic Centre.

    A van will be available for people if needed. Stollers or other mobility devices welcome.

    Feel free to stay for the festival afterwards!


    We will share details about where and when to meet up to people who have RSVP’d closer to the date.
